Description

Do you need Bee Extraction & Removal? It is imperative that bees start to thrive again. They are in grave danger and that will effect the entire food chain. Do you have a bee swarm or beehive you want removed from your property?

We can help eliminate the issue for you, save the bees and help them survive and thrive as well!

Why do bees swarm?

Bees swarm because they have run out of bee space in their hive or the breed of bee is prone to swarming (instinct).

A beekeeper usually has techniques they use to prevent this but sometimes it is hard to stop the swarming instinct. First, the bees will put the queen on a diet in preparation for flying. At the same time, the worker bees start forming swarm cells. They can form from 2-20 swarm cells. It takes 16 days for a queen to hatch from a cell approximately.

A few days prior to the swarm cells hatching the queen and 3/4 of the hive will take off into the air. Quite a sight to behold. However, no need to be scared. The bees are looking for a new home and they are not worried about you. Just leave them alone and call your local beekeeper.

How does a beekeeper help?

We have a special bee vacuum that doesn’t harm bees and it puts them in a save bee box for removal. In this way, the bees can survive in another environment. A regular vacuum would kill them so don’t try this yourself. A bee vacuum is an expensive piece of equipment.

A bee vacuum is a piece of equipment with an attachment so that it doesn’t harm bees & it has some air flow then the bees are sucked up using a 7 foot hose into a bee box where they are kept safe from harm.
