The product is capable of being heated by approximately 1.1 amps and can provide 8-10 doses of 2 grams per amp. With a 5-amp battery, the machine can handle up to 39 colonies, and even more with the optional insulation cover. Using a 20V, 9-amp DeWalt battery, over 70 colonies can be produced.
You have a choice of what battery you want to use but it is only capable of doing one so pick one and that is what you will have to use. You have to purchase the battery separately.
In just 25-30 seconds, the instavap 18 v cordless vaporizer effectively delivers a 2-gram dose of oxalic acid sublimation, enabling you to quickly move on to treating the next hive. Its stainless steel frame and fast, tool-free adjustable dispenser for up to 1-4 grams ensure durability and ease of use. The battery voltage indicator also helps protect the battery, while the insulated furnace guarantees reliable operation in cold, windy weather. Additionally, the sturdy brass tube outlet provides secure positioning within the hive wall, and the accurate and dynamic temperature control prevents overheating.
The Instavap 18 v cordless vaporizer is now equipped with battery protection electronics! With the device automatically turning off at 15,2V and not turning on below 17,2V when a discharged battery is connected. A power of 18V, 240W and 13A is needed for heating up, and then 1Ah provides enough power for 10 doses of 2 grams of oxalic acid treatment. Each treatment with 2 gram doses of oxalic acid lasts 25-30 seconds for optimal results. Optional battery sockets are compatible with various brands such as Parkside, Einhell, Metabo, Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, and Dewalt. Note that the device can only be used with one type of battery. Constructed with a stainless steel and acid-resistant frame and dispenser, and featuring an accurate and dynamic solid-state relay PID temperature control, this cordless vaporizer ensures no overheating and no waiting for efficient and safe use.
