Single Deep Hive Kit

Start beekeeping with this great starter kit. It comes with a single brood box, standard bottom board, top cover, and inner cover. All you need to do is add bees. Check out our Nuc packages. Nuc kits are 4 frames of bees with a queen. You may want to consider beekeeping suits, jackets or gloves at a minimum you may want a hat with veil check our protective clothing section for more details. We also recommend getting a smoker & hive tool.

You have options with the frames of either ritecell or canacell foundation. ZRitcell comes in yellow or black and canacell comes in white, yellow, or black. The cell size for ritecell is 5.4 mm the cell size for canacell is 5.2 mm. Canacell is made right here in Canada and the bees take very well to this type of foundation.
