Beeswax shrinks as it cools making removal from the silicone easy. Wash it in warm sudsy water when needed. Thus mold should last you for many years. For best results stand the mold upright with the opening facing up when not in use.

This mold makes a 1 pound or 454 g brick of beeswax with beeswax imprinted in the wax.
Brick can be removed once the mold feels cool to the touch usually 1-2 hours.
