We are taking orders on our Beekeeping Nucs (nucleus colony) of bees.

Start a strong new hive with Nucs from OPH Beekeeping Supplies expected May 2023. Whether you are a beginner beekeeper, want a garden hive or want to increase your number of hives. This comes with a mated Szabo Queen. Our Nucs are of strong quality and have healthy Queens & Nucs. They are very gentle & big honey producers. Includes a cardboard Nuc box. The Nucs are full and ready to be installed into your beehive equipment so that they can expand and grow.

We have strong 4 frame nucs. These nucs are made with Szabo queens The Szabo family comes from 4 generations of beekeepers with select breeding for low varroa populations, large colony populations, high honey producers, with gentle and hygienic behavioral traits. Approximate pick up date May 2023 date to be confirmed within two weeks of pick up date. Pick up early morning 8AM-10 AM or 7 PM-10 PM appointment required. We recommend bringing your protective gear when coming to pick up bees. Transportation concerns are your responsibility. We do recommend you pickup in evening when foragers are inside the beehives. Optimal conditions is putting bees in back of pickup with tie down straps you may want to have a netting to cover the bees especially if you are picking up by car transport. We recommend feeding it especially if its new undrawn comb. They are ready to be installed in bigger equipment immediately.

Pre-order by placing deposit of $125.00 for each Nuc with remainder to be paid by March 30th, 2023 or you may pay in full at time of order. Send email for how many and e-transfer to ophbeekeepingsupplies@gmail.com $125.00 x # of nucs ordered or buy on the website. Nuc deposit are non refundable.
