Fumagilin-B  helps prevent expensive replacement of bee packages, all while being safe and effective.

Fumagilin-B is a antibiotic specifically formulated to treat Nosema infection in bees. Fumagilin-B works by attacking the actively multiplying disease-producing parasites in the bee’s digestive tract. When administered in sugar syrup, it is highly stable and effective in treating package bees and overwintering colonies.

Fumagillin-B  is a bee health product that provides control over the protozoa spore Nosema Apis, the most common cause of bee infections. Fumagillin-B is highly effective at preventing and controlling Nosema Apis, providing up to 90% reduction in spore levels.

Treat in the fall

In the fall, after all honey supers have been removed, apply medicated syrup (1:1 or 2:1) at a rate of 190mg fumagillin activity per colony.

Fumagilin-B  is an effective medicated syrup designed to control the spread of Nosema disease in package bees and overwintering colonies. This feeding syrup works to repress spring outbreaks, while helping to reduce contamination to the comb and frames.

Fumagilin-B is an optimal solution for treating honey bee colonies. Its comes in 24 g, 96 g 0r 454 g content gives best results when incorporated into sugar syrup, with uniform distribution achieved through good agitation. For best results, avoid preparing medicated syrup more than 24 hours in advance and avoid incorporating it into hot sugar syrup. Barrel-feeding and feeding later than 4 weeks before surplus honey is added are also not recommended.
